Vision Statement Our Vision is to be a Greater Company Code of Conduct Treat everyone with dignity & respect Provide outstanding customer service Provide profits to your company Summary Under the supervision of the Line Lead/Plant Manager, the fabricator performs customer counter top assembly and assists in setups of the glue up, sanding, routing, layout and various departments on the line as it assists in the efficient production of company products.
Essential Duties Perform assembly of custom countertops Provide support to other workstations in your production line Assure all work is done to complete shift production goals.
Assist in training for new hires.
Transport materials and products to other areas within the department.
Notify Line Lead/Production Manager when low on your materials/inventory items you may need.
Provide Quality Assurance throughout all areas of your line.
Work with Quality Assurance position to improve quality through each station.
Aid in necessary production meetings.
Operate Sanders, Routers, Saws, Glue Guns ect.
Maintain shop cleanliness Assist other production lines with various duties or rush orders in order to meet production schedules.
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.
Aid in continuous improvement.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of basic math skills Willingness to be trained on the operation of power/hand tools Willingness to learn other jobs within McDermott Top Shop, LLC Bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
Stand and walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift.
Employee to provide a tape measure.
Employee to provide leather work boot or leather shoe.
