Vehicle Description 1972 Chevrolet Malibu Super Sport Tribute Coupe This car was built in the Baltimore plant and spent most of its life in Virginia.
It is a super solid car that has never been rusty.
It provided a great platform from which to transform a 307 powered Malibu to a very powerful 383 powered Chevelle Super Sport Tribute.
This car not only looks good and sounds good, it really gets down the road.
The engine was built by Wegner.
It has a great list of components that remind me of my drag racing days.
The engine was dyno-tuned and made 400HP and 467 pounds of torque.
All on 91 Octane pump gas.
The 4 bolt main block was align bored and the rotating assembly was balanced.

There is a set of 15x7 and 15x8 Rally Wheels available if you don't like the Day 2 look of the Ultra Super Trick style same sized wheels.
They are mounted with BF Goodrich Radial TA tires of 245/60/15 on the front and 255/60/15 on the rear.
This car was purchased in 2007.
It had already been painted.
The panel fit, straightness and finish look very good.
The black paint had some small gold metallic flake added.
It really pops in the sunshine.
The white Super Sport stripes were expertly applied and buried in the Clear Coat.
The Super Stock style Cowl Induction hood fits well and provides plenty of air to the engine compartment.
All glass was replaced with tinted PPG glass.
Many of the rubber gaskets were replaced and there is a tub of new gaskets in the trunk.
The bumpers, emblems, mirrors, handles, locks and trim were also replaced and look great.
You are going to have to look very, very close to fault this car.
The interior is in great condition.
I believe the headliner is original The Deluxe Seat Belts are also likely original.
The dash is perfect.
